German: "Schulprojekte"

Half of the population is illiterate. A good education is an important prerequisite in order to get out of this vicious circle of poverty. That is the reason why we are building schools in cooperation with local partners. We plan the projects together and bring them into realization with the help of initial financial aid through the domino foundation. With intentional guidance towards independence the schools can be handed over into local hands after just a few years.

Many families want their children to have a good education and are very interested to get a place in the school. However not all parents are able to provide the money for the school fees. In cases like that we try to support the families in their economic situation. This is done through giving micro-loans or sponsorship.
